The Archives hold an extensive series of Quarter Sessions records for the county of Shropshire as well as records for the separate Quarter Sessions held for the Boroughs of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Bishop’s Castle. It also holds series of Petty Sessions / Magistrates Courts registers, Coroner’s and Police records for the county, along with a selection of records relating to Shrewsbury Gaol.
