Tavistock Museum is a town museum located in the historic Court Gate. The entrance is in Guildhall Square.

Opening Times:
It is open Monday - Saturday, 11.00am to 3.00pm, from Easter Saturday until the end of October. At other times it is closed except by arrangement.

We have a set of wooden town stocks (3 persons), a Tavistock police truncheon and some photographs of police personnel over the years. The museum is next to the former town police station and courthouse, now owned by the Tavistock Town Council.
