Within our collections we have a set of gibbet irons used when Edward Miles who was hung at Bruche, near Warrington in 1791, for murder of the post-boy near the Twystes, 15th September 1791.

Historic Buildings?

The Pyramid Arts Centre which is managed by Culture Warrington encompases what was the old County Court building but this is not open as a visitor attraction/museum it is simply part of the Pyramid's building structure.
