Warwickshire County Record Office holds the archival collections of Warwickshire/Warwick Borough/Coventry Adjourned Quarter Sessions, Warwickshire Petty Sessions, Magistrates' Courts, and Constabulary.
Court material includes early indictment records (17th century to early 20th century), order and minute books, registers and session papers, (1625-late 20th century); calendars of prisoners (19th - 20th centuries) and some depositions (19th century)
Constabulary material includes: General Order Books from 1840; reports of Chief Constables from 1855; records of serving officers from 1850's, records of a number of local divisional stations, 19th and 20th centuries, and the 'Known Thieves' photograph albums, late 19th century - c1930.
